How can i change protected WMA’s to a different format or unprotect them?

I’m making a slideshow for my family, but all of the songs i download are protected (I hate URGE music store!!! I paid $20 for songs!!) and i can’t use them! How can i unprotect these files or change their format? Thanks!

    To my knowledge the latest version of WMA DRM hasn’t been cracked yet so you can’t unprotect them, and the DRM will prevent conversion from WMA to any other file format. So your only real option is to burn the track to audio CD, then rip the CD back to your PC again. If you rip the CD back to another compressed format like mp3 or even unprotected WMA then you will lose sound quality (because you’re compressing an already compressed file) but it will at least remove any copy protection for you.
